Pre-Qualification
To speed the review of applications we use a pre-qualification form to identify candidates that have a reasonable chance of admission. Selected candidates will be invited to prepare a full application which requires a $75 fee, transcripts of grads and written references.

English Language Proficiency
English is the language of instruction and all applicants must be proficient in English prior to admission. Further information can be found on the website English language requirements for international applicants. Proficiency can be demonstrated by:

• Possession of a bachelor's degree or its academic equivalent from a recognized institution in a country where the language is English.
• A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 20+20+20+20 (Internet based). Also acceptable are: Michigan Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) score of at least 85 or IELTS minimum score of Band 6.5. Other tests are also acceptable. Send a photocopy of test results with your application. The original scoresheet will be required upon admission.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE): Scores from the GRE General Test are helpful for foreign applicants. Send a photocopy of the score report with your formal application.
